Using different temperatures on the body assists healing and has been both scientifically and medically proven over its years of use. The heat soothes and loosens tight muscles, aches and pains offering a relaxing treatment and the cold stones flush away toxins and reduce any inflammation and swelling. This is a fantastic treatment if you have muscular pain, poor circulation, rheumatic and arthritic conditions, fibromyalgia, back pain, stress, insomnia and depression.

Swedish Massage

This treatment is what comes to mind when most people think about massage.
As the best-known type of bodywork performed today, one of the primary goals is to relax the entire body. This is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. But Swedish massage goes beyond relaxation, it is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension, reducing swelling and pain. This treatment can be adapted to suit you, working on specific areas applying as much pressure as required and wanted. It can be a deeply relaxing treatment as well as an intense massage working to ease tension on certain areas of the body.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy dates back to ancient Egyptian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern cultures. One of the oldest medical textbooks in the world, the Ebers Papyrus, describes how the ancient Egyptians used cupping therapy in 1,550 B.C.
Cupping has many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage. Glass cups are applied to the skin and suction is created. The cups are left for 20-25 minutes and then if required the cups can be walked across the skin for a deep tissue massage.
